 While at McGeorge School of Law Mr. Miller received the Emil Gumpert Trial Advocacy Award, participated in the National Moot Court Competition, and was a certified student attorney at the school run Community Legal Services Clinic.  Mr. Miller has been previously associated with the firms of Poppin & Shier, O’Flaherty & Belgum, and Nevin & Hall where he specialized in bankruptcy litigation, medical malpractice defense and employment litigation, insurance coverage analysis, commercial litigation, and construction defect defense.  Mr. Miller serves as a volunteer mediator and arbitrator through Contra Costa County’s EASE Program.  In addition to litigating for the firm, Mr. Miller provides mediation and A.D.R. services independently through Miller Mediation.
